Tim Edmondson
Guru of groundbreaking American V-twins

It started with a vlsion. On a flight home from a rally, Tim conceived the idea for 2 American IronHorse's Texas Chopper. The prototype was built, and history was made. Tim had created the first mass-produced custom chopper in the motorcycle industry.

Tim got his first street bike when he was 13. Ever the restless wrench, he was always trying to customize and hop-up his bikes and cars. For a while, he worked for several big automotive manufacturers and built special-order custom bikes in his garage. He founded the American IronHorse Motorcycle Company in 1995, and helped build it into one of the top 500 fastest growing companies in the US. The factory and its custom bikes have graced the covers of many magazines, including mainstream publications. Tim spent nearly 10 years distinguishing himself as the company's chief designer of bikes and parts. He also led AIH's Signature Series department, reserved for special-orders and one-off creations.

Tim retired from AIH in 2004 and opened his own custom studio, Edmondson Custom Bikes, near Dallas. He's set to launch a new collection of radical customs at Biketoberfest.
