Project Vulcan story. In a nutshell, we've asked Scott Britt, owner of Britt Custom Metrix, and Tim Edmondson, founder of American IronHorse Motorcycle Co., to create two Vulcan 2000 cus-toms exclusively for RoadBike. They've got free reign to build the most radical bikes they desire. We're simply taking the photos and reporting their progress.

In our first episode, (December/January), the Britt crew disassembled their Vulcan, ditched the stock frame, and built a large rigid frame to house the bike's massive motor. In the second episode, (February/March) Tim and his son. Matt, were working on the specs for their frame. In addition, Tim sent the motor out for cleaning and polishing, and then to a local Kawasaki dealer for a hop-up.
WHOA, NELLY! WHAT HAVE WE HERE? Yes, faithful readers, it's a near-rolling chassis from Tim Edmondson. At last, the Edmondson crew has revealed the platform for what promises to be a stunning custom Kawasaki Vulcan 2000.
